Please sign the current UJPHL letter to US Congressional Leaders.

We call upon members of the Utah congressional delegation to:

  • Call for an arms embargo on Israel, pursuant to U.S. domestic and international law norms, as outlined below.
  • Cosponsor H.R. 3565, the “Block the Bombs Act” and sponsor a Senate equivalent. This bill calls for a targeted arms embargo on Israel, specifying seven categories of U.S.-made weapons to block.
  • Cosponsor H.Res. 876 (Resolution Recognizing the Genocide of the Palestinian People in Gaza) and sponsor a Senate equivalent. This resolution calls for halting arms transfers to Israel.
  • Cosponsor H.R. 7903 and S. 4095, the “Justice for Hind Rajab Act.” These companion bills focus on accountability and investigation.
